LOUD! in the libraries

LOUD! is a free Library initiative for young people aged 12 - 17.  LOUD! lets teens be teens in a safe and welcoming environment. Here are 4 great reasons why you should book in today:

1. Food glorious food!  Every LOUD includes FREE pizza and a drink.

2. They get the whole place to themselves. There are very few places where kids can truly be kids. LOUD! Takes place after hours and is only open to 12 - 17-year-olds, so you know your kids are only hanging out with people around their age, under the supervision of our friendly library staff. 

3. They’ll make new friends. LOUD! is a social event where kids can meet new people around their own age.  Lots of new friendships are formed over the video games and fun activities provided.

4. There’s no pressure. LOUD! isn’t a structured event, Kids are welcome to join in on games and activities as little or as much as they like. With the entire library at their disposal, many kids simply enjoy finding a quiet space to read and relax.
