Community network meetings are attended by government agencies and community service providers, and offer an opportunity for making connections, sharing information, collaboration and community development.
Listed are several of the community network meetings in the Moreton Bay Region. Please communicate with the contact person before attending a meeting to confirm the time, location and your attendance.
General community
Moreton Bay Region Interagency Network
This meeting provides a forum for networking and sharing information between Council, government agencies and community service providers.
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
Moreton Bay Murri Network (MBMN) - Yarning Circle
This meeting is for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
A forum exclusively for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to gather and address issues for meaningful actions.
Moreton Bay Murri Network (MBMN) - Murri Interagency Network
A forum for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to share and discuss meaningful actions with non-Indigenous members who focus on improving outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the region.
Multicultural
Moreton Bay Multicultural Action Network (MBMAN)
Provides information, referrals and support to multicultural communities in Moreton Bay.
Child, youth and family
Moreton Bay Child and Family Network (MBCFN)
Open to community service workers within City of Moreton Bay and members interested in support and advocacy for children and families.
Deception Bay Child and Family Alliance
The Child and Family Alliance is an initiative of the Communities for Children (CFC) program for Deception Bay. The network seeks to increase the capacity of its members, community services, agencies and organisations to work in collaborative, practical, developmental and evidence-informed ways to improve the health and wellbeing of families and children in Deception Bay.
Moreton Bay Local Level Alliance (LLA) Family and Child Connect
This Alliance will enable strengthened connections between local services and the Moreton Bay communities to better support the needs of vulnerable families.
Youth Matters Network
This group meets to share and connect to better serve the needs, issues, matters and topics specific to young people within the City of Moreton Bay boundaries. We work collaboratively to share, explore and develop a sustainable culture and strategy for engagement in support of young people.
Domestic and family abuse
Moreton Bay DFV Alliance
Open to community service workers within City of Moreton Bay and members interested in the prevention of domestic family violence.
Moreton Bay Elder Abuse Prevention Network
This network enables community service workers to share knowledge and expertise on responses to Elder Abuse and promote referral pathways to those experiencing Elder Abuse in the community.

A sector network meeting to facilitate collaborative best practice across Redcliffe and Caboolture. Provides information sharing and network updates.
Peer Participation in Mental Health Services (PPIMS) Network Meeting
Open to people with a lived experience with Mental Health Issues who want to actively participate in a collective voice and assist in shaping mental health services in the region

The Alliance aims to create a dementia friendly Moreton Bay by raising community awareness of dementia, education and support.
